Psychology - Carrie Prejean VS John Edwards

Both Carrie Prejean and John Edwards committed an incident that cannot be forgiven. Carrie’s sex video has been leaked and her qualification to Miss USA has been eliminated. John Edwards on the other hand, had an affair while his wife had a cancer! But still John Edwards worked as a Politician.
In my opinion, Carrie was wasted because she is a woman and because of the image of Miss California. People might think that what Carrie did is a disgrace on the competition. Meanwhile, John Edwards is a man, and I think that the media are being generous to John because there are perceptions that Politicians sometimes fall in affair. My opinion is just an opinion.
