Case Study # 3:

1. Rodney King & Reginald Denny

-Rodney King is an African American. He was brutaly beatend up by four police officers, but the officers were acuitted. The officers were three White and one Hispanic. After this unfair trial, a riot accured in Los Angeles, shouting out "Black Justice", "No Justice, No Peace".
-Reginald Denny is White and while he was driving his truck, he was beatend up by a member called 'L.A Four'. The members were punished and the video was broadcasted live on US national TV.

2. Channon Christian

-Channon Christian and her boyfriend were carjacked and both of them have been rapped, tortured, and murdered. The suspects were black and the victoms were white, so there were some controversy about this case.

3. Abeer Hamza

-Abeer Hamza is a Iraqi girl was was rapped by US Soldiers and killed after the rape.

4. James Byrd

-James Byrd is a African American and was killed by three white men. The suspects wrapped a heavy logging chain around his ankle and dragged him with a car and eventually killed him.


The media shows different reacations to every cases. Some they hide, and some they exposure. I never believed the media 100% before, and because of these cases I will never be able to accept every single words from the media. People has to have critical thinking while they watch the NEWS or newspaper.
